I am amazed and horrified at the same time by the fact that we have highly corrupted officials in our public offices. Why are they in the assembly ? Why do we give them mandate ? How do they manage to get away from election commission ? We need to have independent bodies to search these people before they get into assemblies. We need to introduce electoral reforms. We need prevent these people to get into assemblies before hand. Holding them accountable after they are in of fice is a tough job indeed. We have lack of awareness. Most of the people vote on basis of their cast and religion in Pakistan. We need get informed about candidates that we choose. We need to choose wisely. I believe public need to have access of every document related to candidates from their candidacy, so that it can make better decision based on person's moral character, on his policies and on his views.
